“Mixing the old and the new is something we do in our work and so it should be reflected in our own branding. We wanted a subtle result that would stand the test of time and as our work is so eclectic, we didn’t want it to indicate any particular direction. We used a combination of old and new fonts and offset the black, contemporary mark with a delicate pastel green dot pattern mimicking the textures of old stationary paper stocks. As a point of contact with clients we wanted our business cards to leave an impression so we sourced the thickest black uncoated stock available and foiled our mark in black. The black on black theme is carried through our book, poster and other promotional material.”
