“Gild hired us to help them become the premier international networking club in Barcelona. We decided to include “international” in the logo and add the baseline “the club for networking, Barcelona” to position the club as exclusive in its segment.
The hexagon is ubiquitous in Barcelonese architecture and represents the city and networking. Innovation and connection are symbolized in the colors and how the hexagon is represented.
The club’s building is the heart of the organization; we integrated the company’s symbols and values into its walls to keep them ever present in a subtle and elegant way. The solution was to incorporate them as volume in the walls. To convey the value of internationalization, we created a volumetric map, including Plexiglas hexagons, to mark the home cities of the members in attendance at the meeting. To indicate space, we created a family of icons matching the graphic design in the company’s symbol.”
